I’ve been teasing you with a giveaway since before my book debuted. Maybe you’re starting to doubt me…
Delays, Delays, Delays…
It’s been a frustrating road because I’ve had to have the cover adjusted several times; once my fault, once IngramSpark’s because their ‘templates’ are a pain in the butt, but NEVER my illustrator’s fault- Grady Earls is a professional, as you can see from the quality of his work. Hopefully the cover is correctly centered so you get all of Grady’s beautiful details, like the border and the corner gemstones. I’m waiting on an e-proof before I proceed.
Without Further Ado…
This is part of the giveaway!

It’s a metal sword bookmark; the winner will be able to choose a black, red, or green tassel. Isn’t it gorgeous??? (The glasses are for scale, the sword measures about 8″ (20 cm) long.)
The giveaway will also include a copy of the book with a special cover (sorry, no peeks yet), and other items. I have to whet your appetite.
The rules of the giveaway are:
- Sorry, only available to US residents in the 48 states. But, if enough people buy the book, I’ll consider a second giveaway in all 50 states. Shipping costs to Europe are crazy!
- ONLY PEOPLE SIGNED UP FOR MY WEEKLY BLOG/NEWSLETTER will be eligible to enter (there is no cost). I will have a disinterested person pick from those people, so there’s no fudging (names in a hat sort of thing, so they choose blindly).
- I will use the giveaway for promo purposes. If you’re the winner, please let me know if you do NOT want your full name used. I will NOT use emails or addresses. I’m perfectly fine using a nickname (but you have to be a real person, bots need not apply).
- I would ASK that you post on social media about the giveaway, tell friends, family, etc. both before and after you win.
- If the giveaway is successful (either in sales, followers, some person deciding they want to help with my marketing because they love the book, or some agent/publisher wants to rep me-hey, I can dream), I will do another. (I have 6 of those sword bookmarks…)
So my next blog/newsletter will be about the Arthurian legend. I thought this would be more exciting…
