I’m back from California where I watched my son graduate from Cal State University, Los Angeles. Proud parents moment as we watched him walk the stage with his Honors cords.
Why Litter?
California is a beautiful state, but I saw too much garbage. ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE ARE TRASH RECEPTACLES. Oh, it’s here in New Jersey where I live too. It’s where I go hiking and biking on the trails, walk on the shore, drive the highways. Beer cans, bags of dog poop, fast food containers, clothes, you name it. No place is safe from those who are too lazy, selfish, slobbery (insert bad word here).
It Doesn’t Have To Be
The smile made of sticks on a trail shows me it’s not all people, but it’s far too many. This is what we should see everywhere:

Saving the environment and world is important to me. We recycle everything we can, compost food scraps, repair furniture/cars/appliances when we can instead of buying new, and try very hard to not be materialistic and acquire ‘stuff’ that we don’t need. If people would just expend a little bit of effort to NOT be (insert bad word here), imagine how nice our world would be. If my characters care about the world, surely everyone else can do, at the minimum, their share.
What’s Next?
It’s back to marketing The Excalibur Vow. That means reading marketing materials, putting together special giveaways, posting on social media, and whatever else I can learn. Have some marketing advice? Hit me up.
