Establishing the New Routine

It’s my intention to post a monthly blog; once a week is too often, have lots of writing catching up to do, family events, and marketing stuff. My target date was the 21st, but I had a minor surgical procedure (nothing big) but was feeling woozy most of the day, then was trying to play catch up. Sometimes life takes precedence over writing.
The Schedule
So here I am posting on the 24th. Close enough. I plan to post on the 21st of September and will make sure I draft it before the 21st but there are a lot of family things going on that month so forgive me if my posts are not exactly on time. My professional schedule, after seeing all the possibilities and options I can pursue thanks to my MFA, will be:

Mondays: novel writing, revising, subbing, and follow up
Tuesdays: social media posting, meme creations, etc., during the day, and Romance Writers critique group at 7:30 p.m.
Wednesdays: novel writing, revising, or subbing
Thursdays: novel writing, revising, subbing, and follow ups
Fridays: working on writing, revising and subbing short stories and chapters for critique group
I’m leaving the weekends open because of family obligations, entertainment, relaxing, reading, housework, etc. While I will try to stick to this routine, already there will be exceptions: holidays, my son’s wedding in Ecuador, traveling to help my parents move into their new home. I will do the best I can and do as much work ahead of time as possible.

The Next Big Thing
My next blog post will be about the projects I’m working on, both for traditional and independent publishing, so be sure to stop by and take a gander.
